ExxonMobil Heavy Duty Engine Oils Meet New API CI-4 Plus Specification
ExxonMobil announced that four of its heavy-duty diesel engine oils have met the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) new CI-4 Plus specification.
CI-4 Plus licensed lubricants are required to deliver improved soot handling and shear stability performance in all engines. These improvements enable engine oils licensed under the API CI-4 Plus specification to better withstand the severity of the latest low-emission engines.
