RVing Care-A-Vanners Build for Humanity

About two dozen RVers from all across the country will arrive in their recreational vehicles and set up camp at the Windy Acres Campground in Westhampton, Mass.

But they won't be on a typical vacation. The Care-A-Vanners as they're called will be working on one of three Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity duplexes.

Care-a-Vanners travel in their RVs from Habitat work site to work site around the country. They are often married couples from a variety of backgrounds, according to Deborah A. Callahan, chairwoman of the Pioneer Valley group.

"What is huge is the amount of work they produce and the continuous number of days (they work.)" Callahan said.
