Bring your own bedroom
This year it appears that a growing number of people are piling into Motorhomes. Some of the largest renters of recreational vehicles say business this holiday season is up 10 percent to 20 percent. Families are driving RVs to see relatives and to see attractions, and they are parking them in the driveway.
"Maybe your in-laws are coming and you don't want them in the house, or maybe there really isn't room," said Joe Laing, director of marketing for El Monte RV, a nationwide dealer based in Los Angeles.
