Family Campground Welcomes Patrons Back For The Holidays
The leaves are gone, the two pools are empty and groundskeepers are trimming trees and preparing for winter at the Highland Orchards Resort Park, but that doesn't deter the RVers. And they'll be there through the winter months, as well, although in far fewer numbers than in the summer, when thousands of campers flock to the family-owned campground and RV park to spend a weekend, a few days or a few weeks.
In fact, the campground is expecting a pre-Thanksgiving rush as the “RVers” arrive in well-appointed trailers and motor homes to visit family or enjoy the fall season in southeastern Connecticut. Full Story...
