Complaints on trailer, motor home parking in Torrance California

After listening for years to a steady grumble of complaints, Torrance has begun looking for ways to restrict on-street parking for motor homes and trailers.

The city will hold a public meeting on the issue Thursday. Its planners hope to get a better sense of the problem and draw out ideas for solving it.

Cities across the country have searched for ways to make sure motor homes and trailers don't stay parked on their streets long enough to gather dust. Neighbors have complained that they detract from their views or make it impossible to see around a corner. Full Story...
