RVers welcome in Bandera, Texas

When the question of limiting RV Park stays was brought up at the meeting, every member of the Bandera City Council spoke against restricting stays at RV Parks. However, an agenda item that would repeal the current 14-day limit - which is not being enforced - was tabled due to zoning concerns.

The issue surfaced as the result of a poorly written ordinance. Council member Robert Skinner, who was on the council when the ordinance was originally passed, said it was intended as a way to prevent people from living in RV units in residential areas - such as homes' driveways.
