New feature lets Michigan campers reserve specific campsites online
Campers now can reserve specific state park campsites on the Internet.
The Department of Natural Resources on Monday said the new feature -- part of its campground reservation system -- makes Michigan the only state to have color-coded maps showing campers immediately what sites are available.
The technology is similar to airline reservation systems that allow travelers to pick specific seats online. Free Story...
