Fairbanks, AK to wait on RV issue after Park owners whine

The Fairbanks City Council said nothing on a proposal to relax overnight camping rules for store parking lots and moved the ordinance forward to its next meeting, despite hearing testimony against the ordinance.

Most of the speakers, who were either employed by or owned private campgrounds, said they couldn't compete with large stores that could offer free parking to motorhomes and other campers.
