Union Creek Campground In Oregon

If you like to camp, fish, or hike, and if you want to stay close to some of the most spectacular scenic wonders in the Pacific Northwest, Union Creek Campground is the place for you. Located about 61 miles east of Medford, Oregon on Highway 62, this spot offers lovers of the outdoors a multitude of opportunities to enjoy walks through picture postcard beauty while experiencing the wilds of Oregon.

The campground has few amenities, which makes it feel more like a genuine wilderness. You won't find showers or flush toilets here, but the U.S. Forest Service has installed outhouses with vault toilets. Water faucets strategically placed throughout the campground provide plenty of water good for drinking or washing.

The 78 campsites each have a campfire ring or two-sided pit. Some still have the old Civilian Conservation Corps camp stoves dating back to the 1930's. Each campsite can accommodate tents or recreational vehicles. The cost is $10 per night for the first vehicle and $5 for each additional vehicle. Full Story...
