YOSEMITE hikes some campground fees
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. Campers will pay a couple extra dollars when they head to Yosemite National Park next year.
Fees at the Upper Pines, Lower Pines, North Pines Hodgdon Meadows, Crane Flat and Wawona campgrounds after January first will have to pay 20 dollars a night -- up from 18.
Fees at Bridalveil Creek and White Wolf campgrounds will increase from 12 to 14 dollars a night. And Tamarack Flat, Yosemite Creek and Porcupine Flat will increase from eight to ten dollars a night.
Park officials say it's been about four years since the last fee increase.
