Fuel prices blamed for drop in Winnebago earnings

North American motor home and caravan makers are feeling the pain of high fuel prices in much the same way as car and truck makers.

Winnebago Industries, the biggest motor home manufacturer, reported a 25 per cent drop in quarterly earnings on Wednesday. Besides an 11.7 per cent fall in deliveries, the Iowa-based company said buyers were opting for lower-priced motor homes and diesel-powered vehicles. Full Story...
