Airport is ground zero for thousands of RVs

A steady stream of traffic landed on the runways of the Hernando County, Florida Airport Monday.

These people movers didn't fly, though. They rolled.

Hundreds of recreational vehicles hummed into the airport, their owners gearing up for the Family Motor Coach Association's 25th annual Southeast Area Rally.

The event officially begins Friday Feb 3, 2006 and runs through Sunday. Organizers expect some 2,300 motor homes to roll into Garden Grove, the small hamlet where the airport is located. Full Story...
