Rhode Island State beaches to open for summer
Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management officials announced that most state beaches will open daily starting Memorial Day weekend. They operate from 9 am to 6 pm.
Two exceptions are World War Two Memorial State Park in Woonsocket and the Burlington picnic area and campground in Charlestown. Those facilities will be open only on the weekends until June 17th. After that, theyll be open daily until Labor Day.
