RVers return to the question... Where in the world have you been?

Darren and Celeste Smith have to be two of the bravest parents in the world.

For five weeks in 2005, from June 4 to July 10, they packed up their four kids – Corey, 14; Chelsea, 13; Cassidy, 10; and Connor, 3 – and drove through 21 of our United States.

To prove they may have more guts and love than sense, they also pulled behind the 32-foot motorhome an enclosed trailer filled with four-wheelers and bicycles.

And they did this without a specific plan for their route, sleeping in parking lots.

“It took about a week to get adjusted to us living so closely and to doing without everything we usually have at home, but after about the third week, we didn’t want to go home,” she said. “And we all want to go back.”
