Bandleader keeps winter RVers moving

Dancing feet are happy feet. Just ask the folks who regularly trip the light fantastic in the many ballrooms in the East Valley RV resorts.

They have a choice of about 15 locations to enjoy the resorts' multi-purpose rooms, which boast stages for the bands and plenty of floor space for dancing. The occupancy is 300 for most locations.

The crowd includes both winter RVers and year-round residents, none of whom seem to mind the admission of $5 to $10 that usually is charged.

He and his wife, Jenneice, spend summers playing dances in and around their home town of Valley City, N.D. then head south to their home in Mesa's Fountain of the Sun for the winter dance season. Myron leads the band, plays drums and sings. Jenneice plays keyboard.
