RV Snowbirds are Dancing,Parading in the streets

BROOKSVILLE — A dozen decked-out golf carts chugged along the narrow streets through the Frontier Campground Saturday morning during the Decorated Golf Cart Parade.

The night before, those streets were filled with hundreds of people taking part in the annual Street Dance.

The two events highlighted the week-long 35th anniversary of the campground.

“It’s usually about like this every year,” said Wally Pawloski, a Frontier resident who had just finished watching the parade with his wife and neighbors. “Bob (McGlashen) puts on a great party. He’s very good at this sort of thing.”
