Oregon opens new full service campground
Stub Stewart State Park, is the first full-service state campground built since 1972. In addition to the 43 full hook-up campsites the park includes:
• A horse camp with 16 campsites and corrals
• 12 walk-in tent sites
• A hike-in camp with 23 tent sites
• 15 rustic-style cabins
• A day-use area with picnic sites and trail heads
The park is located on the east side of Highway 47, four miles north of U.S. 26
Admission is $3 a day, $25 for a one-year permit, or $40 for a two-year permit.
Campsites and cabins range from $9 for a walk-in tent site to $39 for cabins
Reservations are being taken for dates beginning Aug. 16. Until then, the RV sites, campgrounds and cabins are on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 1-800-452-5687
