509 Lot RV Developemnt Approved
The Okeechobee County, FL, Board of County Commissioners paved the way for the construction of Silver Palms, an RV park. The 509 lots, which developers say are larger than the usual RV lot, will be sold to RV owners.
At the completion of development, maintenance will be maintained by a homeowners association.
Amenities will include shuffleboard, tennis, bocce and horseshoe courts, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi spa, fitness center, billiards room, library, a private lounge for owners and a 9,000 square foot clubhouse which would serve as a hurricane shelter.
