Monsoons Close Popular Arizona Campground
Tucson, AZ - Rose Canyon up in the Catalina Mountains remains shut down indefinitely after recent monsoon flooding left damaging effects in its wake.
Closures include 74 individual campsites, two group campsites and Rose Canyon Lake.
The floodwater ran right through the heart of the popular Rose Canyon campground.
The road to the campground is accessible, but the damage has been done and officials fear it will not hold up to heavy traffic.
