Motorhome Destroyed by Fire

RV owner, Ed Callahan, said he had pulled his 1995 Winnebago in front of his home to load it for a trip he was taking Wednesday to Jacksonville and turned on the refrigerator before going inside his home.

Callahan said he heard a “whoosh” and went outside to see fire in the area the refrigerator was located in the motor home.

The fire destroyed the motor home, causing about $20,000 worth of damage to the vehicle and the contents inside, Brevard County Fire Rescue District Chief Jeff Money said. No one was injured, and Callahan’s home was not damaged.
