Manitoba's Provincial Parks Raise Fees for 2008

It will cost more to visit Manitoba's provincial parks in 2008.

New regulations introduced just before Christmas will increase the fees for access permits as well as campground spots effective Jan. 1.


A season pass to provincial parks increases to $26.67 from $24.75 this year, while a three-day pass increases to $6.67 from $5.95.

Campsite fees will also increase next year. The fees are based on a formula that depends on the types of services offered at the campground, but the base rate for a basic site before services will increase to $8.40 from $6.90 next year.
