Clean Campgrounds Going Extinct
Camping today isn’t what it used to be. And there’s no doubt that camping in the future won’t be anything like it is today. Right now, people are littering campgrounds with paper plates, plastic utensils, bottle caps, crushed troll dolls, beverage cans and all kinds of trash.
The rubbish is accumulating faster than our workers can clean it up.
Vince Johnson is a freelance writer and philosopher, wants to promote his dream of an “Adopt a Campground” program. It would be like the “Adopt a Highway” idea that has helped clean up thousands of miles of roadsides all over America.
