Gas prices fuel talk at Canadian RV show

Canada East - Moncton,New Brunswick,Canada
The price of gas was on most RVers' minds at the Moncton Coliseum-Agrena Complex this past weekend's annual Moncton RV show.

"I hear people complain about the price of fuel when they gas up their car and it costs them $40 and I hate to admit it but it makes me laugh a little bit," says Madeleine Bourque of the Acadian Peninsula.

"Our 30-footer can go through $40 worth of gas in one morning."

Today's gasoline prices are high enough but were predictions of even more dire prices to come this summer paining RV owners, potential new buyers and tire-kickers at this weekend's show?

"It's not that big a deal, really," Bourque insists.

"If it costs you too much to drive, then drive less and camp more. That's the thing with RVing, if the weather isn't nice where you are, you can move; if you are bored, you can travel; and if the price of gas is too high, just find a nice place and stay there."
