Honda Issues Vehicle Recalls
Honda has issued two separate recalls for about half a million Acura TL sedans over possible fires under the hood and fix problems with the windshield wiper motor. One recall covers 373,000 vehicles from the 2004 through 2008 model years. Honda says prolonged high temperatures under the hood could cause the power steering hose to deteriorate, causing the hose to crack and leak power steering fluid. So far, it says no fires or injuries have been reported. A second recall covers 130,000 TLs from the 2004 and 2005 model years for a potential failure of the circuit breaker inside the windshield wiper motor.
