Record Numbers at Quinte Sportsman RV Show

At least, in the case of the Quinte Sportsman Boat and RV Show this proved to be true - a record number of attendees passed through the doors at the Quinte Sports Centre this weekend.
Warm weather and blue skies proved to be a strong ally for the annual show - marking its 10th year - as vendors and residents commented on the spring-like atmosphere outside.
"It gives me hope that winter might actually be gone," said Ivan Kinney. "When was the last time you could go outside without a coat on?"
Kinney and his wife, Evelyn, were one of hundreds of people investigating the prices of recreational vehicles. A number of vendors were on hand at the show trying to catch their attention but the retired couple said they were hesitant to make any large purchases just yet.
