Austin, TX RV Park Residents Forced Out

Melissa Engleman thought this day would never come.

For the past two years an Airstream trailer has been her home.

"My friends in Houston were not impressed [with the trailer]," Engleman said.

But, she said places like the Shady Grove RV Park are part of what makes Austin great.

"At night, you can see the skyline from my trailer," she said.

This prime real estate cost tenants just $500 a month to rent.

But now they're gone, to make way for condos called Barton Place. Monday was the last day for residents at Shady Grove.
