Customers Can't Get Trailer Title After RV Dealer Foreclosed

Foreclosure is causing confusion and headaches for customers at a south St. Louis County RV center, among them, a Metro East family trying to run a ministry using their RV.

The Kavenys bought an RV from the Howard RV Supercenter last month. They thought it was going to help them when they travel for their ministry, but all it's caused them so far is frustration.

The Kavenys bought their camper on March 7th. Howard's was foreclosed on a little more than a week later.

"It's been an ongoing disaster," said Pat Kaveny who says nobody can find the title to the vehicle.

He points out that the VIN number from his bill of sale doesn't even match the one on the RV.

The bottom line – the Kaveny's can't get license plates for the camper now that the temporary tags have expired. That means the RV is just sitting in their driveway instead of being out on the road.
