AL-KO Kober Corp. has acquired RBW Industries Inc.
ELKHART — AL-KO Kober Corp. has acquired RBW Industries Inc. of Chino, Calif. RBW, is a manufacturer of recreational vehicle accessories, primarily hitches.
The majority of RBW’s employees are expected to remain with the company under the new ownership, said AL-KO, which added that it plans to expand the production capacity at the former RBW location in Chino with additional investments.
The two companies began discussions a few months ago on how best to help each other, and the acquisition decision arose out of that, the company said, noting that the parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
