Fleetwood Motor Home Factory lays off 130

A Paxinos, Pa, Motorhome factory that makes gasoline-powered recreational vehicles has laid off about 130 workers.

A spokeswoman for Fleetwood Motor Homes says the high price of gasoline has cut into demand for RVs. Spokeswoman Kathy Munson says another problem is that the housing crisis cut potential customers' home equity.

Fleetwood's Paxinos plant is one of three nationwide. The other plants are laying off workers, too, totaling of about 600 people.
