Man Hits 50, Buys Motor Home, Finds New Life, Wife

June 13 (Bloomberg) -- Carl Tucker lived a comfortable, predictable life in Bedford, a leafy enclave north of New York City, where he ran the Patent Trader newspaper and had lots of civic responsibilities.

Then he turned 50, looked in the mirror and out the window, thought he needed a change and frightened his friends -- and increasingly estranged wife -- by buying a 23-foot-long motor home, which he called Migrant.

Tucker rolled through the U.S. on two long trips visiting the 65 graves of our presidents and vice presidents.

He returned, he says, a nicer guy and happier too.
