Motorhome crashes into train

Marnie Hodgson was on her way home to Diver Lake at about 4 p.m., following behind a motorhome on Milton Street when she heard the train crossing warning signals. Then she saw the warning lights as she crested the hill, and watched with disbelief as the RV in front of her to continued across the train tracks.

"I stopped and (she) kept going," she said. "I actually saw it physically hit the motorhome."

She saw the contents of the old RV flying everywhere as the train connected with the rear of the vehicle, causing the cab to jackknife to the left, then the entire vehicle was dragged it to the right side of Milton, a short distance from the corner grocery store.
