Pigeon Bridge State Forest Campground Reopens

CORWITH TOWNSHIP — Michigan Department of Natural Resources forest recreation officials have officially reopened Pigeon Bridge State Forest Campground following repairs to its water well. The campground is located in the Pigeon River Country State Forest (PRCSF) in Otsego County, via Sturgeon Valley Road, northeast of Vanderbilt.

The campground was closed early last summer when the campground’s only hand-operated well broke down while undergoing maintenance. The DNR requires a potable water source for every 25 campsites; the campground has 10 sites.
