Redwood National and State Parks offer Ranger-guided activities

A full schedule of ranger-guided activities is available through the summer months at Redwood National and State Parks. The following is the schedule of activities for the period of Friday, June 27 through Friday, July 4.

Campfire Programs: All ages are welcome to come and participate in these evening programs which will take place at Jedediah Smith, Mill Creek, Gold Bluffs Beach, and Elk Prairie campgrounds. Meet at the specified campfire centers (1 hour).

Junior Rangers: Children ages 7-12 learn about people, plants, and animals of the redwood region. Programs will begin at the Jedediah Smith Campground, Mill Creek Campground, or at the Prairie Creek Visitor Center at the designated times (1 hour).

Nature Walks: Meet at the time and place specified below for a closer look at a special aspect of Redwood National and State Parks. Wear good hiking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring drinking water (1 to 2 hours).
