Burning motor home sparks wildfire

KTVZ - Bend,OR,USA
A wildfire sparked by an overheated motor home on Juniper Canyon Road south of Prineville, OR burned 40 acres Saturday, threatening homes in the area for a time, but crews made good progress overnight in keeping it from spreading any farther, officials said Sunday.

She said firefighters from Crook County Fire and Rescue and the Prineville BLM would spend Sunday putting out remaining hot spots on the fire line and starting to mop up the fire's interior.

There was no estimate of when it would be declared contained, Clark said, adding that Saturday's united effort led to no injuries or lost structures.
