Tillamook Forest Center offers campground talk

Hillsboro Argus - - Hillsboro,OR,USA
"A Walk Through Time" will be presented at Nehalem Campground, on July 26 at 7 p.m. by staff members from the Tillamook Forest Center.

If the trees in this campground could talk, they would share stories of big events. Explore how salmon and bald eagles use the river, look for evidence of old time logging, see how nurse logs create trees on "stilts" and check out how the 2006 and 2007 storms impacted the forest and the railroad.

Tillamook Forest Center offers free family-friendly programs at the Tillamook Forest Center, including Tillamook Forest Center programs, guided hikes, special events and a new "Find Yourself in the Forest Guest Presenter Series."

Visit for more information or call 866-930-4646.
