Balmorhea, pronounced BAL-mo-ray, State Park Campground caters to both RV and tent campers. We inched our way into the cool water of the world’s largest spring fed swimming pool. The clarity is perfect for scuba divers and snorklers and is a constant 72 to 76 degrees year round. Average RV fee is $17. Swimming in the 1.75-acre pool is free. The San Solomon Spring pumps 20 million gallons of artesian water per day and is the only home on earth for the endangered Comanche Springs Pup fish. And yes you will be swimming with the fish!
