Campers on Mission

A string of motor homes have lined a field near the building site along US-31 since early June. If one leaves, another one pulls in to take its place. The vehicles belong to members of Campers on Mission who have traveled cross country to help build the church.

The vast majority of COMs, who take up temporary residence wherever there's a need for their help, are retirees who volunteer their services for projects such the Herring Lake church.
