More Campers at NASCAR

The Stoudt family has been camping at the NASCAR camp at Watkins Glen International for more than ten years. But Al Stoudt says this is will be his last.

Al says it costs him $350 to reserve this camp site and it needs to be reserved in the fall.

“You pay for this spot a year in advance basically and if the gas prices are seven dollars a gallon, then you either bite the bullet and go or you stay home and lose hundreds of dollars,” says Al Stoudt of Binghamton.

Glen officials say more camp sites have been reserved this year compared to previous years. They say by Sunday more than 5000 camp sites will be occupied.
