RV Resort sets Classic Car & Truck Show for Saturday

After a successful inaugural event in 2007, Fort Firelands RV Resort will be hosting its second annual "Rockin' the Fort" Classic Car and Truck Show this Saturday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Last year's Best of Show winner was Jim Neidert from Oak Harbor. Jim eked out 1st place winner John McDonald of Marblehead, 2nd place winners Ken and Jean Kehrwecker of Port Clinton and 3rd place winner Sam Barnett of Port Clinton.
Cruise in to this event in your classic car or truck. Lowriders and motorcycles are also welcome. There will be dash plaques and trophies for show participants. Don't miss out on the 50/50 drawing along with raffle prizes donated by numerous area businesses and the many shops at Fort Firelands. Food available from PJs Pancake House and local D.J. Jerry "Moon Dog" Vess will be on hand to Rock 'N Roll you old-style.
