Campground installs Power Management System

Greeneville Sun - Greeneville,TN,USA
Old Mountain Campground in Camp Creek, TN, has become the first Greene County business to be named an "EcoCertified Business" " for improving its air and water systems with the technology of EcoQuest Internatonal, a Greeneville-based company.

Their certification was presented to Mike and Sherry Brobeck, owners of the campground.

Mike Brobeck said the campground has 30 full hookups for camping trailers and 20 tent camping sites. Four cabins are under construction, he said.

The Brobecks said they first began to explore the EcoQuest technology in an effort to reduce ever-increasing electrical costs at the campground.

They began with the installation of PowerwoRx, which provides electrical surge protection and electrical noise filtration, with the added benefit of increased electrical efficiency that can provide energy savings.
