Natchez Trace Parkway reopened after Hurricane Gustav

The Natchez Trace Parkway has reopened following Hurricane Gustav's path of destruction.
Numerous trees had fallen on the parkway earlier this week. Now, the parkway is open to traffic from milepost zero in Natchez to milepost 87 near Clinton.
Maintenance crews worked to remove the trees and debris from the roadway.
