KOA campground gets special delivery 11 - North Bend,OR,USA
It took a large crane and a lot of man power to help move the 1929 rail caboose and it's wheels from two flatbed trucks to it's new resting place.

Campground owner Fritz Gross says he has a love for all things railroad related, purchasing his first caboose for the campground a couple of years back.

Gross says the caboose itself has a lot of historical significance.

"It was built in 1929 and decommissioned in 1987. This one was upgraded as a pull caboose. This was used from Chicago to California on freight trains and the conductor and crew would sleep in it while they were traveling."
