Mississippi RV Park now Jellystone Park Campground

Horn Lake's Audubon Point RV Park will become the second Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Campground in Mississippi.

"We've had a good business, but we want it to grow," said Keith Russell, who opened Audubon Point June 1, 2007.

"We didn't get the number of travelers this summer that we had expected, but we believe that joining the Jellystone Park franchises, that we can become more of a destination campground," he said.

Audubon Point already has a swimming pool and a game room, but Russell said he will be adding other activities to enhance the park.

Audubon Point has 114 slots for RV camping.

Audubon Point is on U.S. 51, just south of Nail Road in Horn Lake.
