RVs are green friendly? You betcha…

While this may surprise many of you, recreational vehicles (RVs) may be in fact a more green way to take a vacation in spite of the low mileage they may get.

According to a story on Market Watch, those of us who get away from it all by driving a behemoth vehicle (and living in it) for our vacations are likely conserving resources versus hotels and other vacation venues. Their small interior space make them more conservation-oriented. In fact, they are naturally focused on minimizing resource use by design. Their owners also take steps to keep gas mileage low, including not using air conditioning, minimizing water use when showering and installing solar panels.
