Mendocino National Forest campground Fees Climb

Ukiah Daily Journal - Ukiah,CA,USA
Users of California's Mendocino National Forest will see new fees if they wish to spend the night at some National Forest campgrounds.

Fees such as those charged at campgrounds allow the Forest Service to offer services and make improvements to the sites, Mendocino National Forest stated in a news release Friday.

At Lake Pillsbury, a night at the Oak Flat Campground will be $5. Campgrounds at Penny Pines and Deer Valley will be $6 per night.

In the Covelo District of the forest, it will cost $6 a night for sites at Howard Lake, Howard Meadows and Little Doe campgrounds.

Campgrounds in the Grindstone District of the forest will also see fees of $5. A boat launch ramp at Lake Red Bluff will also see a charge of $6 per boat launch.
