Party with the stars under dark skies at Alamo Lake, Arizona
Arizona State Parks has chosen Alamo Lake as the site for Night Under the Stars. The program begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and, weather permitting, continues after nightfall.
"The campground at Alamo is the best campground to look at the stars," said Ellen Bilbrey, spokeswoman for Arizona State Parks. "You don't have any of the lights that affect so many other places. . . . The nearest town lights are about 40 miles away."
