GPS Salesman Looks for RV Use to Increase

Snowbird Bill Powers became a dealer for Travel Buddies, a brokerage that sells Garmin GPS devices, about a year ago. He brought his small business to the Northwest Valley in March, influenced by the many retirees who own recreational vehicles. Powers has no physical store, but travels to RV parks and conferences to demonstrate the gear. He recently spoke with The Republic about how the economy has affected his livelihood and about his business' prospects for the future.
