Kissimmee River offers majestic sights

The Kissimmee River is a gem within arm's reach.

Known for bass fishing and a nearby fort of the Seminole Wars era, it is a quiet redoubt where one or more people (depending on whether you get along with your family) are able enjoy nature in its majesty, almost as it was pre-European invasion of Floridian shores.

A place in Polk that sits on the Kissimmee River. A place that offers a rustic appearance, a subtle frontier ambiance, along with simple modern amenities. An opportunity to enjoy some of the loveliest natural river scenery available in Polk County.

This gorgeous spot really is two sites located at the end of Camp Mack Road, well out in East Polk County. Those two sites being the Lake Kissimmee State Park and Camp Mack.
