High Turnout At FMC Motorhome Rally

The Desert Sun - Palm Springs,CA,USA
One-thousand four-hundred registered motorhomes rolled into Indio for the weeklong festivities ending Sunday and at least five of those coaches were decked out with hieroglyphics, Egyptian art, and pyramids for the kickoff parade on Thursday.

Despite a difficult economic times, the motor home show reported a higher turnout than last year, said Bobby Donald, president of the Western Motor Home Association, the western region of the Family Motor Coach Association.

“I am happy and I am tickled pink,” he said about turnout.

The motor home show did not expect such a high turnout with a difficult economy, but it may have had something to do with low gas prices, said Sandy King, WMHA publicity and advertising chairwoman.
