North Dakota Red River SRA ready for campers
Despite being underwater just weeks ago, the Red River State Recreation Area in East Grand Forks will open on schedule.
Gladwin Lynne, manager of the Red River SRA, said Monday the Sherlock Park Campground is almost ready.
“We are here. We are taking reservations,” he said.
The earliest campers can reserve a site is May 15. In the meantime, camping will be on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Thursday, Lynne said, adding that will be a “day-by-day” decision.
